SATURDAY JUNIOR CLUB CRICKET
At Everton Districts Cricket Club, we offer a vibrant Saturday Junior Club Cricket program, providing boys and girls with the opportunity to play competitive and structured cricket within the Brisbane North Junior Cricket Association (BNJCA). This program is designed for young cricketers ready to challenge their skills, grow as part of a team, and enjoy regular weekend matches against other clubs in a fun yet competitive environment.

GAME TIMES
		
			Saturday Club competition matches generally kick off bright and early at 8:15 AM. The length of the game varies depending upon age group and number of overs, but last no longer than 3.5hrs.
Exceptions to our standard start times:Boys U11: Play will commence at 1:30 PM Boys U14: Play will commence at 1:15 PM
Important Note on Match Duration: If play at a matches begins earlier or later than the scheduled start time, the finish time will be exactly 3 hours and 30 minutes after the actual commencement time. However, regardless of any delays, please be aware that play must always conclude no later than 3 hours and 45 minutes after the originally scheduled start time.

			Your childs age group for the BNJCA is determined based on their age as of the 31st August.

Fixtures for season 2025/26 will not be available until the BNJCA has released the draw closer to the seasons start date. Saturday club matches are played at a variety of locations within the Brisbane North Junior Cricket Association (BNJCA) catchment area which stretches from Burpengary to Wilston.

			Everton Districts Cricket Club maintain a modest fee structure to attract new members to our family friendly, fun first club culture.
Full Season: $250.00
Half Season Pre-Christmas: $195.00
Half Season Post-Christmas: $185.00
The following fees are included in your registration:*
- $17.50 Cricket Australia National Registration Scheme**
- $30.00 Brisbane North Junior Cricket Association (BNJCA) fee
* These fees are applied to all registrations and are not managed by EDCC
** This fee is payable once per every 12 months per player

PLAYING EQUIPMENT
		
			All players are required to wear an Everton Districts Cricket Club Playing Shirt and Cap, however unlike many clubs these items are provided as a part of your sign on fees for the season and are not required to be purchased in addition to your registration fees.
In addition to these item, the following equipment is required for your child, which must be provided:Long White pants 
Neutral-coloured runners/joggers/cricket shoes Cricket bat
 Helmet
 Batting gloves
 Batting pads
 Abdominal protector
Many sporting stores have starter packs available, or check out your socials market places, kids grow fast. 🙂

Everton Districts Cricket Club is excited to accept Queensland Play On! Sports Vouchers, making it easier for children to get involved in competitive cricket! These vouchers offer $200 to help Queensland families with living costs and keep kids active in sport.
What are Play On! Vouchers?
"Play On!" Sports Vouchers are a Queensland Government initiative, providing $200 per child aged 5 to 17 years. They're designed to help cover sport and active recreation costs, ensuring more children, including those in regional areas and of all abilities, have the chance to play.
What They Cover with Us
These $200 vouchers can be redeemed directly with Everton Districts Cricket Club to significantly reduce your child's membership fees for the upcoming cricket season.
How to Apply
1. Stay Updated: Vouchers are released in specific application rounds for summer and winter sports. We recommend signing up for updates on the official website to know exactly when a round opens.
2. Visit the Official Site: Go to https://www.sport.qld.gov.au/sport/funding-programs/play-on
3. Apply Online: Follow the instructions on the government website to claim your voucher.
How to Use Your Voucher with Us
1. Register Your Child: Complete our club's online registration for the season.
2. Enter Voucher: During registration, you'll be prompted to enter your unique Play On! voucher number. The $200 will be deducted from your total fees.
3. Pay Balance: Only pay any remaining amount.
Important Things to Note:
One voucher per child, per round.
 Vouchers have an expiry date – please use it before then!
 Apply as soon as a round opens; allocations can be claimed quickly.
