Getting Access to PlayHQ

Use your existing PlayHQ account, or create one if you don't already have one.

Choose your role

Select Coach or Manager. Both roles are free.

Use the same Everton PlayHQ registration link used to register players, then complete your registration as a Coach or Team Manager.

We'll assign your team

You don't choose a team during registration. Everton will assign the correct team afterwards.

Scoring a game?
Scorers don't need their own PlayHQ account. Everton provides scorer login details for electronic scoring, with more information in the Scorers section below.

Managing Your Team in PlayHQ

Once Everton has assigned you to your team, you’ll find it under My Teams when you sign in to PlayHQ.

From there, you can open an upcoming match and manage your team for game day.

1. Open My Teams
Sign in to PlayHQ using the same account you used to register as a coach or team manager, then open My Teams.

2. Select your team
Choose your Everton team to view its fixtures and upcoming matches.

3. Choose the match
Open the upcoming match you want to prepare for and switch from Public View to Manage.

4. Manage your line-up
Select the players and team staff for the match. You can also download the game sheet once your line-up is ready.

Can’t see your team or the Manage option?
Check that you’re signed in with the same PlayHQ account you used when registering as a coach or team manager. If it’s still missing, contact Everton so we can check your team assignment and access.

Managing Your Team in PlayHQ

Once Everton has assigned you to your team, you’ll find it under My Teams when you sign in to PlayHQ.

2. Select your team

New to scoring? Start with the interactive tutorial, then try the demo scoresheet before match day. You can practise recording runs, extras and wickets without changing a real game.

Scoring doesn’t require your own PlayHQ account. Everton provides the login details needed to access electronic scoring for your team.

PlayHQ electronic scoring runs in your web browser, so there’s no app to install. Open the scoring portal on your laptop or tablet, sign in using the details provided by Everton, and select the game you’re scoring.

1. Before the match
Sign in to electronic scoring and select the correct match. Set up the scoring session as close to the start of the game as practical so the latest team line-ups are available.

2. Start the game
Confirm the teams and line-ups, record the toss and select who is batting or bowling first. Choose the opening batters and bowler, then start the innings.

3. During the match
Record each delivery as it happens, including runs, wickets and extras. Keep an eye on the score as you go and check it regularly with the other scorer.

4. After the match
Check the score and result carefully, make any necessary corrections, then complete the game in PlayHQ.
